The Curators behind Victoria Clare Vintage

Meet Jen & Paul,

A smiling couple stands outdoors surrounded by trees and plants. The woman is dressed in vintage wedding attire with a lace dress and a birdcage veil, holding a bouquet of peach-colored roses. The man is wearing a patterned shirt and dark pants, with a jacket draped over his shoulder.

The city was emptying out & beautiful things were being left behind.

The VCV Story

When COVID hit, people were leaving the city, and entire apartments were being cleared out with them.

Beautiful furniture was ending up on sidewalks and curbs, pieces with history, craftsmanship, and plenty of life still left in them.

Paul and Jen started noticing.

Then they started stopping.

One piece became another. Before long, they were picking things up, searching Craigslist, taking drives, and making a game out of seeing what they could find.

What started as something they simply loved doing together became a love for the hunt, the stories behind the pieces, and giving beautiful things another life.

Somewhere along the way, Victoria Clare Vintage was born.

Some things are just too good to leave behind.

Every piece they choose still starts with that same feeling.

Something catches their eye, the lines, the craftsmanship, the history, or the little detail that makes it different.

They aren’t looking for perfect. They’re looking for pieces with character, pieces that have lived a little and still have plenty of life ahead of them.

Because sometimes the best things aren’t brand new.

They’re just waiting to be found.

“The best things aren’t always new. Sometimes they’re just waiting to be found.”
